Description

Gleason-Pfauter P100 CNC Gear Hobbing Machine equipped with a Siemens 840D CNC control and six controlled axes - X, Y, Z, A, B and C.
The P100 is a compact CNC gear hobbing machine designed for precision production of small and medium-sized gears. According to the manufacturer's technical data, the machine accommodates workpieces up to 120 mm diameter, with a maximum module of 3.0 mm in steel.
The machine features an enclosed hobbing chamber, hydraulic workholding, automatic lubrication, spindle coolant system and automatic chip removal system. Attached gear deburring tool is also part of the machine.
The P100 provides radial, tangential and axial slide movements of 90 mm, 140 mm and 100 mm respectively, with a maximum hob head swivel of ±30°. Hob speeds are specified from 300 to 3,500 rpm, while the work spindle is rated from 0 to 1,000 rpm.
